Obituary

Cynthia “Cindy” L. Chrestensen, 54, of Lebanon, died, Sunday in Corvallis.
Cindy was born April 20, 1964 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of Fay William and Martha Jo (Smith) Wade. She was raised in Texas and Arkansas and moved to Oregon in 1983. Cindy had resided in Beaverton and Albany before moving to Lebanon in 2007.
Cindy married Randy Chrestensen on July 17, 2009 in Albany. Cindy had worked at the Mennonite Home in Albany for 13 years and then worked at the Oaks of Lebanon until retiring.
Cindy enjoyed camping, going to the coast and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was a loving, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loved and will be missed by many. She passed away far too young.
She is survived by her husband Randy, children Kenneth “Todd” Smalley, Amber Desha Peterson and Cody Allyn Peterson all of Lebanon, brother James Curtis Wade of Albany, sisters Demetria De Simone of St. Helens and Kimberly Ferreira of Beaverton and 9 grandchildren.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Fay William “Pete” Wade, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 9, at King’s Chapel, 65 W. Grant St. in Lebanon.
